We heard the heartbeat!

Today was AMAAAAZING! We went to our first Dr. appointment, which was quite the adventure. None of the front desk people, nurses, or other staff speak English. Only the 1 doctor we saw speaks English but this clinic was recommended to us because it's good and much cheaper than the one we were planning on going to. For a much higher price we can go to a really foreigner-friendly, all English doctor's office, but what would be the fun in that? Plus it's just not worth it. Not at this point. We're satisfied with the 1 English-speaking Dr. we have. That's all we need right? She even gave us her personal cell phone number since we can't exactly call to make an appointment.

Anyway, we got a sonogram and we saw the little baby!! She/he (we're hoping for a girl) is the size of a raspberry right now. We saw it move around and saw the little heart beating. We also heard the heartbeat. So amazing!


Speaking of other amazing things....my husband is amazing and continues to amaze me. Today he made apple crisp for me and I got to lay in bed and direct him through it. Since we have a 1 room apartment, the kitchen and the bed are right next to each other. :) He just rode his bike to the store to get ice cream to go with our apple crisp and he is coming home to make dinner too! I love that man.
